Each nominee receives a certificate to recognise their nomination. Leah took the certificates around on Friday and congratulated those she met up with.

She said, “The smiles were amazing, it’s great for people to be recognised to know they are doing a good job and doing the right thing. It’s a good time.”

8 categories make cup the awards including, Individual Dedication to Customer Service, Giraffe Award for Customer Service, Excellence in Business, Apprentice/Trainee of the Year, Contribution to the Community, Employee of the Year, Employer of the Year and Best New Business,

It is the first year that voting has been opened up to the public.
